Baserunning Blunders Spell Collapse For The Hub

This past week spelled heartbreak for The Hub, as they dropped their second straight. There was one out in the bottom of the 7th, and The Hub was down by two runs, when Eric Farnham laced a line drive deep to right center. Injury Bug Takes Another Big Bite Out Of The Hub’s Lineup

Manager Mike Staebell has just announced that IF Zach Raymond has been placed on the 7 day DL due to shoulder soreness. Raymond, who has a stellar .695 BA in the leadoff spot and has drank a remarkable 4.5 beers per game, will be watching from the bleachers as The Hub takes on some other lame Barmuda team.

Raymond pulled himself out of the game last week for the same reason. What is the cause of this nagging injury? When asked for comment, team trainer Eric Farnham responded, with a puzzled look on his face, “What? Dude– Staebell, you have WAY too much time on your hands.” Read More
