Manager Mike Staebell has just announced that IF Zach Raymond has been placed on the 7 day DL due to shoulder soreness. Raymond, who has a stellar .695 BA in the leadoff spot and has drank a remarkable 4.5 beers per game, will be watching from the bleachers as The Hub takes on some other lame Barmuda team.

Raymond pulled himself out of the game last week for the same reason. What is the cause of this nagging injury? When asked for comment, team trainer Eric Farnham responded, with a puzzled look on his face, “What? Dude– Staebell, you have WAY too much time on your hands.”

On a similar note, The Hub’s director of Public Relations–Mike Staebell, has announced that today is Media Day, which means today each team member will have the opportunity to pose for his very own baseball card, as exemplified in the photo album. The photoshoot will take place before/during/and after tonight’s game.

Player to watch–Zach Raymond, who will undoubtedly raise his beers per game average tonight as he sits on his ass and watches from the bleachers.
