Here’s an illustration of my home town of Cedar Falls, IA. My goal was to recreate some landmarks using only simple shapes, and assemble them together to create a simplified geographic representation. (Check out the time lapse video below)
The result is a bit cluttered for my taste, and might warrant a rework of certain elements, but ultimately it was a really fun project and I hope to do more of these in the future.
